A Screening of the Film Nine Days That Changed the World will be offered on Tuesday, 14 September 2010 at the United Nations Headquarters, Conference Room 4 NLB at 6:30 PM. The fascinating documentary examines Pope John Paul It’s returns to his homeland in 1979. Less than a year after being elected pope nearly one-third of all Poles turned out to see the Pope in person.

There will be an Art Auction and Wine Tasting Fundraise on Saturday, August 28th at 301 Garden Street. Registration begins at 6:00pm and bidding will start at 7:30pm. Funds will be raised for the North India Christian Children’s Education (NICCE) Foundation, which is working to build Christian children’s homes and schools in the rural villages of North India. There will be an Intensive Journal Method Workshop offered August 6-11th, 2010 at the Xavier Retreat and Conference Center, Convent Station, NJ. The method is an integrated system using writing exercise in a setting of privacy and quiet to help you gain awareness, connect with your self and develop a more meaningful life.
