Advent is the beginning of a new liturgical year.  It is a season of grace for the Church.  A new litugical year is always an invitation for the parish to grow as a people of God has gathered together.  Without careful planning for keeping Advent, this season can be lost.  Advent breaks openfor us the height and breadth and depth of Christ’s coming.  We must keep Advent to embrace Christ at Christmas
