The Giving Tree is filled with Tags of 4 different colors, for each of the 4 causes we are supporting this year.
Saint Matthew’s Lunchtime Ministry (RED)
St Matthew's Lunchtime Ministry (LTM) provides a warm meal, hospitality, and community for those who are homeless, marginally housed, or hungry.

Homeless Veterans/Veterans in Need* (GREEN)
The American Legion Hoboken Post 107 serves military veterans and their families through supportive housing, member outreach, veterans group partnerships and community programming.(*Note this new addition, working with our Parishioner contacts from our local American Legion Post #107.)

Mercy House (YELLOW)
Mercy House is a family- oriented resource and referral center in the Heart of Newark with a focus on assisting pregnant and parenting women who need a safe and supportive environment.
5 Parishioner Families (WHITE)
on the Church steps!
Join us on Sunday, December 15 at 4pm for our 5th Annual Christmas Carols on the church steps. The Music Ministry will perform Christmas Classics for all to enjoy! Hot Cocoa will be served!
This year, in addition to the causes on our Christmas Giving Tree, we are excited to once again, be partnering with the Hoboken Police and Fire Departments who are hosting the Sgt. Peter Zanin Toy Drive!
You can bring donations of new unwrapped Toys for all ages, at the Giving Tree in the Church or to the Parish Office. (We request that no stuffed Toys be given.)
Please bring your Toys no later than Tuesday, December 10.
Knights of Columbus

COLLECTION DONATIONS
SPP will be collecting New or Gently Used Coats for Kids 0-18 Years of Age through the Knights of Columbus.
Donations can be dropped off in the marked box located in the Church vestibule.​​

Here you can set up recurring contributions, or choose to make a one-time or an unplanned gift.
Once you enroll in Parish Giving, if you have an existing Faith Direct account, please be sure to discontinue it.
MIKE DUFFY CORNER
Mike and his wife, Angie, joined SPP about 10 years ago. Since joining the Parish, they have been active in a number of ministries. Mike currently serves as the Director of RCIA at the Parish. Mike also writes a monthly column for the SPP bulletin centered on navigating the Catholic faith in today's world.

Hurricane Helene Relief: We continue to pray for all those affected by the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. CCUSA, as the official domestic disaster relief agency of the Catholic Church in the United States, has launched a dedicated Helene disaster relief campaign. All donations received for disaster aid will be allocated to the Catholic Charities agencies providing critical relief — including shelter, food and other humanitarian aid — to those most in need.
