Faith Formation 2016-2017
Register your child for the 2016-2017 Faith Formation Program and Sacramental Preparation

Welcome to the 2016-2017 Faith Formation Program at Ss Peter & Paul!

Here at The Catholic Community of Saints Peter and Paul we see ourselves as part of your family. This Catholic Community is committed to loving you and your family as you are. We are also committed to raising happy and healthy children with you who have a relationship with God. Like in any relationship, there are expectations that family members have for one another. Having clear expectations is the key to having a healthy relationship with one another. These will also help us educate children more effectively, joyfully, and lovingly in the faith.

Expectations

SPP Children/Student Faith Formation Expectations

Connect...

...With the Faith Formation staff by responding to their communications with you.

...with your child by participating in the at-home activities.

...with your parish by registering and actively participating as a parishioner with the parish.

Contribute...

...by giving feedback by participating in the program's evaluations.

Your own involvement

It is important that parents model good stewardship for their children through service. We invite you to minister with our Faith Formation program to enrich the lives of our children. We promise that it will be fun, easy, and highly rewarding for you. Below are some areas in which you could serve. Please check at least one area that interests you. For more information, email Nick Leeper.

Do you have any ideas, traditional or novel, for the Faith Formation Program or any feedback you would like to share?

Media release

Our parish uses printed, online and social media and video recordings to describe what we do, which includes the capture, recording, editing and publication of images, sounds and videos of faith formation activities in which your child's likeness may be represented. If you follow us on Facebook, you are already familiar with this practice. This section establishes that you give us your authorization as the legal guardian of your child to use the materials captured in our marketing and media channels. Below is the “official” wording of the section.

Legal clause

You grant to The Church of Saints Peter and Paul (“Photographer”) the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any photographs that he/she has taken or may take of my child or in which they may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish the photographs in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all media now or hereafter known, including the internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration. You also release and discharge Photographer from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy.

Should you have any questions or concerns on this, please contact Nick Leeper.
